Funding
Montgomery Park Comprehensive Planning Committee is looking to start ad hoc community fundraising group for future improvements of the park. The more community participation in the plan, the more successful we will be, not only in fundraising, but in the long term success of the project. The planning committee is also seeking grant opportunities where available.
- Play Area – Infant, Toddler and Child
- Paved Paths: Entry from Main Street, Entry from Elm Street and Sidewalk, and Connector
- New parking area adjacent to playground and future pavilion
- Furnishings & Signs
- Fencing: Dryden Hotel parking rail, Play Area
Future Initiatives in the Park Revitalization Process
The following items will be developed in phases over time. The implementation sequence of specific projects and programs are to be determined based on level of priority and availability of grant and funding programs:
- Loop Trail, NE entrance and remaining Connector Walkways
- Skateboard Park Rehabilitation and Expansion
- Multi-use Sport Court
- Gazebo Rehabilitation
- Pavilion
- Lighting
- Landscaping
- Picnic Tables
- Water Fountain
- Benches
- Perimeter Fence
- T-Ball Backstop
- Reintroduce Music
