Trash / Recycling

Trash

Casella Waste Systems is the garbage collector in the Village of Dryden.  The Village participates in a Sticker or Tag Program.  Stickers/Tags may be purchased at the Village Clerk’s Office, Kinney Drug Store, Clarks grocery and possibly the gas stations in the Village.

As of June 1, 2023 the cost to purchase a sheet of twelve trash tags from the Village Clerk's office is $33.00.  The tag color is Turquoise and Thursday is trash pick up day in the Village. Your trash should be placed at the curb by 6:00am on Thursday for pick up. Trash tags must be placed on your trash bag prior to pick up, one tag for each 20 lb bag of trash. Weeks with these Holidays-Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day, garbage pickup will usually change to Friday's but please call Casella to make sure or visit their website.  https://www.casella.com/holidayschedule?name=Village+of+Dryden%2C+NY The Village has no control over their schedule, we do try to find this information out and will post it on our Facebook page if we do.
