The 2010 curbisde brush pick up will be on May 3rd, June 7th, September 7th, and October 4th. Reminder: brush must be no longer than 4 feet in length and tied for easier handling. Appliances such as stoves, washers, dryers and hot water heaters (no refrigerators) will also be picked on June 7th. On October 4th rugs and stuffed furniture will also be picked up.

HYDRANT FLUSHING

The Department of Public Works will be flushing fire hydrants on May 10th through May 13th, 2010 and October 18th through October 21st, 2010 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. As your water may become discolored it is strongly recommended that light colored laundry not be done during those hours.

SIDEWALKS

Property owners are responsible for the sidewalk in front of their home. Please be sure your sidewalk is clear of debris and that hedges do not overhang into the sidewalk. Parking is not allowed on sidewalks.

LOCATION OF MAILBOXES

Please check and be sure your mail box is properly located, this will assist the DPW with their snow removal efforts and also hopefully keep your mailbox safe from the snow plow. The Village WILL NOT be responsible for cost of repairs to mail boxes which are not properly located.

JIM SCHUG TRAIL

The Jim Schug Trail runs from Springhouse Road and proceeds south along the old Railroad Bed through the Village of Dryden, continuing past the Dryden Lake Park. No motorized vehicles or camping are allowed on the Trail. Your cooperation in honoring these restrictions is appreciated.
